Who snickers a bit when I see a VAG diesel product on the road?

I have a Skoda diesel. It’s a good car and I don’t see your point.

I kinda feel bad for them - you know many of them bought them thinking they were doing the right thing and their little baby let them down... On a positive note, it turns out Ze Germans knew how to roll coal long before all the US bro-truck drivers did! And they still have like an 800 mile range, right?

True - I laugh because I remember how bad this whole situation has been for VW, but then I realize that the owners still probably spend less on fuel than most of us.

Not alone. Hell, I trolled my boss who has a Mk6 Golf TDI with the DSG. He let me drive it one time when we went to lunch. Before I trolled him :}

You may well be (lives in a place where more than 70% of new cars are diesel)

I’d have to be snickering the whole time when participating in traffic, whether I’m driving, walking or cycling. It’ll get exhausting fast.
I do snicker a bit when I hear someone talk about the perceived great quality of VW products.

I refuse to believe anyone who bought one thought it was green or environmentally friendly. diesels produce black smoke and smell and sound funny. no one ever thought they were green outside of the obvious using less fossil fuels
